Stig Skovlind. The Musician & Songwriter
In 1996 Stig started Beverly Hills Orchestra with some friends. The Band is currently the main source of income for Stig. In 1992 Stig and his vocal partner, Peter Busborg, released the album "Busborg". It was a hit on Danish Radio. In 1996 Easy Records released Stig's solo debut album "Coffee & love" - an Africa-inspired album that has a few things in commen with Paul Simon's Graceland. In 2004 Stig conceived the crazy idea of selling a not yet recorded album. The project was called Project 500. The album was released in May 2004 and the title was "Breaking news from the CoffeeShop". "Breaking news from the CoffeeShop" was recorded in cooperation with Stig's Cuban piano player Julio Cesar Jimenez and is a collection of pop songs with a strong cuban flavour". Songs from the album is often played by Danmarks Radio P4.
